Richmond Homes to pay €42m for north Dublin site with potential for 1,700 homes

Richmond Homes, the €300 million-backed developer, has won out as preferred bidder to acquire a north Co Dublin site with potential for 1,700 homes.

In what is viewed by property market sources as an indication of market cooling, the agreed price around the deal, which is subject to due diligence, is close to or slightly under the €42 million asking price.

Others who looked at it include the Durkan family’s DRES and Cherrywood developer Hines....
