The Sunday Business Post won three major awards at the 2016 NewsBrands Ireland Journalism Awards, and made a clean sweep of the business categories.

Described by the judges as “the Indiana Jones of the economic archaeologists”, deputy editor Tom Lyons was named Business Journalist of the Year for his work, which included an exclusive interview with former Anglo Irish Bank chief executive David Drumm from his jail cell in Boston.
