It was a precision operation. At 7am on Friday, a group of security men supported by gardaí arrived at the headquarters of cake decorations and baking products maker Decobake in its headquarters in Clane Business Park, Co Kildare.

They quickly secured the premises on behalf of a court-appointed provisional liquidator to the company who was appointed the day before after a petition by the rate collector of Dublin City Council (DCC).
