Protesters ‘sense blood’ as coalition fears grow over water

“The people can sense blood,” said Richard Boyd-Barrett of People Before Profit, one of the leaders of the anti-water charges campaign which brought tens of thousands of people onto the streets yesterday in almost 100 demonstrations across the country.

The TD was speaking as demonstrators assembled yesterday for a day of protest against the water charges.
