Post writers claim 11 nominations in national journalism awards

The Sunday Business Post’s journalists have secured 11 nominations for the NewsBrands Ireland Journalism Awards 2017.

Deputy editor Tom Lyons, chief reporter Jack Horgan-Jones and business reporter Barry J Whyte were all nominated for business journalist of the year.

Lyons and Horgan-Jones received a joint nomination for business story of the year, with Horgan-Jones also receiving a nomination for investigative journalism for his special investigation on the tax tactics of vulture funds.
