Pope makes provocative trip to Greece amid EU deportations

Greek TV claims Francis has offered to take 10 refugees back to Vatican

Pope Francis has made an emotional visit to Greece today to thank its people for welcoming migrants.

The pontiff will then meet with refugees as the European Union moves to deport them back to Turkey.

Greek state television ERT reported that Francis had offered to take 10 refugees - eight Syrians and two Afghans - back with him when he leaves.
