Planned Tesco strikes in north-west could spread nationwide by Christmas

Christmas might be cancelled for Tesco as workers at the retailer have voted in favour of strike action.

Staff in stores in the northwest of the country will go on strike in December, but Mandate general secretary John Douglas has warned that the industrial action over Tesco’s refusal to recognise the union could spread nationwide.
