Parents who do not wish to have their children educated in a school with a religious ethos have a right to see their wish respected, according to Archbishop of Dublin Diarmuid Martin.

In his Homily at the schools mass at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral in Dublin, Archbishop Martin said the future of education in Ireland is under constant review, and not just on matters of finance and austerity and planning.
