Notre Dame nabs Kylemore deal

Notre Dame University is on the verge of sealing a deal which will see the prestigious US college take over part of the iconic Kylemore Abbey in Connemara, Co Galway.

The two parties are understood to be in the final stages of negotiation over the details of the deal, which would see students from Notre Dame use the former boarding school at the Abbey as a residential facility, which is also home to nuns from...
