Nóirín O’Sullivan has three days to hand over missing Garda College letters

Garda Commissioner faces possibility of facing a specific finding against her in the watchdog’s upcoming report

Garda Commissioner Nóirín O’Sullivan has been given until Wednesday to furnish outstanding correspondence on Templemore Training College to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), or face a specific finding against her in the watchdog’s upcoming report.

The chair of the PAC took the unusual step of writing to the Commissioner last week, imposing the deadline and reminding O’Sullivan of her responsibilities as accounting officer of An Garda Síochána....
