News In Brief

25th September, 2016

The White Hag, a brewery based in Ballymote, Co Sligo, is looking to raise €25,000 through an adopt-a-barrel programme, writes Emmet Ryan.

The crowd-funding initiative aims to help the firm buy 100 barrels for its barrel-aged beers.

The idea to have 100 barrels adopted at €250 each was inspired in part by the Scottish brewery BrewDog’s share-offering schemes.
