The operations arm of the National Sports Campus saw its turnover rise from €5.3 million to €5.7 million in 2016, while its grant income also rose, pushing its total income from €7.6 million to €8.1 million.

The company’s expenses also increased – from €7.5 million to €8 million – and the company had a pre-tax surplus of €46,882, down from €93,076 the year before.It left the company with a retained loss of €1.7 million in 2016....
