Quinn joins board of academic events firm

Former education minister Ruairi Quinn has been appointed as a director of an academic events company formerly run by Web Summit founder Paddy Cosgrave.

Cosgrave stepped away from Undergraduate Awards Limited last September, with Quinn joining officially in January.

The former education minister’s role, which is not remunerated, will involve growing the brand internationally. He will shortly be joined as a director by Terence O’Rourke, former managing partner of KPMG in Ireland and current chairman...
