New figures show that companies in Ireland's services sector saw growth quicken again last month after a slowdown in April.

The Investec Services PMI, compiled by research group Markit, rose to 61.7 from April's 26-month low of 59.8. Any figure above 50 signals growth in the sector.

Investec said companies reported improving economic conditions and strengthening demand from customers.
