New Corsa: even better than the real thing

Its new owners have ensured that the next generation of the hugely popular Opel model is lighter, keener and more refined.

In its lightest form, the new Corsa is 108kg lighter than its predecessor, boding well for emissions

The Opel Corsa is one of the most important models for the German brand, selling more than 13.6 million units over its five-generation history. It sells in a hugely competitive segment of the market, one of the few that hasn’t lost much ground to new SUVs and crossovers. In Ireland alone, Opel sells around 1,500 Corsas annually.
