MSD to create 200 jobs in Carlow, Cork and Tipperary

US pharmaceutical group MSD has announced plans to create 200 jobs at its Irish operations in three counties by the end of 2016.

The company, which employs more than 2,000 people in Ireland at its operations in Carlow, Cork, Dublin, Tipperary and Wicklow, said 110 jobs will be located in Carlow with 50 jobs at its Cork facility and 40 in Tipperary. The new positions will be available across operations, quality, engineering, supply chain, and commercial operations.
