Michael Chadwick steps down from Grafton Group

Michael Roney of Goodyear Tyres to replace outgoing chairman

He will be succeeded by Michael Roney, currently chief executive and director of Bunzl, the FTSE 100-listed distribution and outsourcing business. He was formerly chief executive of Goodyear Dunlop Tyres in Europe.

He is also a non-executive director of Brown-Forman Corporation, one of the world’s largest US based spirits businesses, and was formerly non-executive director of Johnson Matthey Plc, a specialist chemicals business and world leader in sustainable technologies.
