A law firm which helped to produce a report into the concentration of media ownership in Ireland has issued a statement in response to criticism by the media tycoon Denis O’Brien.

Last week, O’Brien issued an 886-word statement about the report which made a number of serious allegations about the independence and funding of its authors, four lawyers from Belfast-based KRW Law as well as London’s Doughty Street Chambers.
