Manufacturing surge of 11.3 per cent

Production one fifth higher than 2014

Manufacturing output is up 11.3 per cent year-on-year in November.

Industrial output figures for the autumn show a rise of 3.8 per cent on the preceding three-month period.

In November itself, production was 11.3 per cent higher in the year. This compared with a yearly increase of 17.5 per cent in October.
