Live register falls by 2,600 in May

The number of people on the live register fell by 2,600, or 0.7 per cent, in May to 347,100, the Central Statistics Office said.

The figures showed that the number of men signing on fell by 2,500, or 1.2 per cent, last month while the number of women fell by 200, or 0.1 per cent.
