Minister of State for Public Expenditure and Reform Michael D’Arcy heralded the progress of the government’s insurance reform agenda in March when the latest official update was published.
Of the 33 recommendations set out in the Cost of Insurance Working Group (CIWG) report, published two-and-a-half years ago, 20 were marked as completed, with a further nine either “ongoing” or categorised as completed insofar as government was concerned.
