Lioncourt Investments buys ECM College in deal worth more than €1 million

Dublin-based ECM College was founded five years ago

Lioncourt Investments, together with its minority shareholder Ion Equity, has acquired Dublin language school ECM College in a deal worth more than €1 million.

Founded five years ago by brothers Eddie, Patrick and Ciaran O’Loughlin, ECM's turnover has risen to €2.5 million last year from €200,000 in 2010. The college, which is accredited as an education provider by Quality, Qualifications Ireland (QQI), caters for 1,200 students from Europe, Central America and South Korea.
