Kirby sets up British Virgin Islands base

Kirby Group, the €100 million Limerick engineering business, is relocating its corporate base to the British Virgin Islands, as part of a financial reorganisation that increases the privacy of its finances.

The firm, which is one of the largest engineering firms in the state, is transferring shares to an unlimited company in the British Virgin Islands called Kirby Group engineering two, new company filings reveal.
