Kinvara, the Galway-based skincare brand founded by Dr Joanne Reilly in 2011, is to begin exporting to the United States and China this year, having recorded an almost 100 per cent rise in turnover in 2018.

However, Reilly, a scientist who became interested in skincare after her own skin became problematic, said plans to expand into Britain are on hold as a result of the ongoing uncertainty over Brexit.
