Johnny Ronan tried to settle Crean land row with M&G fund

Two developers now locked in legal disputes in Dublin docklands and over waste

Developer Johnny Ronan wrote to the financial backers of his rival Patrick Crean six months ago to try and defuse a bitter dispute that has since escalated significantly.

In a letter sent in August 2016, Ronan said he was not prepared to discuss the dispute with Crean directly, but that he was prepared to sit down with his financial backers M&G Investments to avoid “current antagonism” and “future litigation”.
