James Osborne

Tributes have been paid to the highly-respected businessman and lawyer James Osborne who died suddenly last Thursday. He was 68.

Osborne was a long-standing director of Ryanair, the chairman of the bookseller Eason and former managing partner at A&L Goodbody solicitors where he first made his name having joined upon qualifying from Trinity College Dublin in 1973.

He became a managing partner in 1982 when he was just 32.
