IMH, New Beginning embroiled in legal row

Debt advisors' social media spat may reach courts

A legal row is brewing between two rival debt advisory groups, New Beginning and the Irish Mortgage Holders Organisation (IMHO), after a social media spat.

According to a solicitor’s letter sent to the directors of the IMHO and its chief executive David Hall, High Court proceedings will be initiated on behalf of New Beginning and its co-founder Ross Maguire unless allegedly defamatory social media posts are discontinued.
