IAG makes formal offer for Aer Lingus

IAG has formally made its €1.4 billion offer for Aer Lingus with the bid set to remain open for acceptance until July 16.

Aer Lingus said it has posted the offer document to shareholders and plans to hold an extraordinary meeting in Dublin on July 16 to seek approval for the connectivity resolutions agreed between IAG and the government.
