HSE interim chief in running for €300k director general role

HSE’s interim chief Anne O’Connor

The HSE’s interim chief Anne O’Connor is among those shortlisted for the director general job of the health service.

O’Connor has held various senior posts in the health service including national director of mental health and national director of community services.

In 2018, O’Connor was appointed deputy director general. She was asked to take on the interim director general post by health minister Simon Harris.
