Staff are being offered “unprecedented” referral fees of €3,000 to help recruit nurses to a large private hospital.

The Mater Private Hospital in Dublin is offering €3,000 to staff who refer nurses between now and September 18. In addition, nurses who take up permanent posts will be paid a €3,000 sign-on fee.
