The liquidator of the property investment firm Brendan Investment Pan European Property (BIPEP) is expected to examine how the business invested in the American city of Detroit, when its original investor prospectus indicated it was looking only at Europe.

Aidan Garcia Diaz of Collins Garcia Insolvency Practitioners, who was appointed as official liquidator of BIPEP last week, is also expected to examine fees paid by the business to various parties prior to the company’s liquidation....
