Health insurers preparing to launch major fraud clampdown

The insurance industry is gearing up for a major clampdown on fraud in the coming months, with health insurance set to come under particular scrutiny.

Health insurers have already recouped millions of euro from so-called special investigations, with industry sources suggesting there’s potential for insurers to recoup millions more by taking steps to further clamp down on fraud.
