Half of Ireland's wealth owned by top 10 per cent of households

Bottom 50 per cent of households have just 5 per cent

Half of all the wealth (53.8 per cent) in Ireland is held by 10 per cent of the households, according to a new study by research organisation TASC.

The top 1 per cent of households owns 14.8 per cent of the wealth, while by comparison the bottom 50 per cent of households in the country have just 5 per cent of the wealth in the country.
