The accessing of journalists' telephone records by the Garda Ombudsman Commission, GSOC will be discussed at Cabinet today.

Minister for Justice Frances Fitzgerald is to bring a memo to Cabinet for discussion today

Under new powers drawn up last year, GSOC may access journalists' personal phone records if necessary as part of investigation.
