Plastic waste: bottle return idea was rejected

The Department of Climate Action and Environment liaised directly with the plastics industry and actively sought their input on the Green Party’s Waste Reduction Bill, before shutting the proposed law down by seeking a money message, The Sunday Business Post can reveal.
