Gardai name the dead man in Ratoath shooting

Fears grow that shooting could escalate gangland feud

Gardaí have named the man shot last night at the Old Mill, Ratoath, Co Meath. He was Noel Duggan who lived with his family in the estate.

A suspected associate of Gerry “The Monk” Hutch, Duggan was shot several times as he sat in a car outside his home at around 8pm last night.

Another man received gunshot injuries in the shooting, though Gardai provided no update on his condition.
