Garda whistleblower sues Commissioner and state, claiming he was bullied

A garda whistleblower is suing the Garda Commissioner and the state, claiming he was bullied by management after he made allegations of corruption and criminality within the force.

Garda Nick Keogh, stationed in the Athlone division, is currently on sick leave. He has lodged legal proceedings with the Personal Injuries Assessment Board, claiming damages for bullying and harassment.

Employer liability cases may be referred by PIAB to the High Court.
