Garda Commissioner Noirín O’Sullivan is facing calls to say whether or not the IRA exists after the murder of a former IRA member Kevin McGuigan.

Earlier this year, she supplied a letter to a Sinn Féin TD stating that the force had “no information or intelligence to support the assertion that the Provisional IRA still maintains its military structure”.
