Galway-based Telegael set to return to profit

TV production company counts Aifric among its success stories

The Galway-based film and TV production company Telegael is set to return to profit this year.

The firm recorded a pre-tax loss of €204,365 last year, compared to a profit of €246,329 in 2014. However, the loss in 2015 was due to an exceptional writedown on some of the company’s intellectual property, its chief executive Paul Cummins said.

Shareholders’ funds fell to €1.8 million in the year to end December 2015, compared to €2.2 million...
