Andy McCue will take over at Restaurant Group

Shares in Restaurant Group rose by more than 13 per cent in London this morning after it named a former head of bookmaker Paddy Power as its new chief executive.

Breithaupt will leave immediately, only two years after being appointed to the top job, with McCue starting on September 19.
