Former Anglo Irish has spent millions preparing its defence in Quinn suit

Cornerstone Research was paid $500 an hour to prepare a substantial report on Quinn’s trading

The former Anglo Irish Bank paid an expert witness $500 (€467) an hour to prepare a 47-page report to support its defence of a €4.5 billion action by the family of the former billionaire Sean Quinn.

The Sunday Business Post understands that sums running into the millions have been invested in preparing a defence to the Quinns’ actions which have not been settled despite repeated attempts to reach an agreement.
