FitzPatrick fretted over ‘friends’ on non-resident accounts list

Anglo trial witness says she was told to remove name from list to be submitted to Revenue

Back in 2003, Seán FitzPatrick, then chief executive with Anglo, expressed concern that his “mate” Denis appeared on a list of non-resident account holders at the bank.

He is also alleged to have said he was “losing sleep” because his brother-in-law John Peter O’Toole’s name was to be reported to Revenue as part of an investigation into potentially bogus non-resident accounts.
