Film boss chalks up expenses claims of nearly €40,000

Irish Film Board chief executive James Hickey spent in the region of €40,000 on hotels, taxis and other expenses in the course of his work as head of the national film industry’s promotion body in the last two years.

Claims of €18,000 last year and €15,000 to date in 2014 were made, with the film board confirming that further expenses such as centrally booked flights, iPad roaming, mobile phone bills and other costs...
