Bellator, the mixed martial arts promotion company owned by media giant Viacom, hopes to become the number one player signing Irish fighters.

Scott Coker, its president, told The Sunday Business Post last week: “We’re pretty good star identifiers and star builders, there will be somebody, who doesn’t have to be exactly like Conor [McGregor], but someone with their own style and way of handling themselves.
