Family of staff in state-funded firm get €350k contracts

A state-funded local development company awarded almost €350,000 in contracts to the family members of staff.

Meath Partnership is currently under Garda investigation after an official report found that over €535,000 of payments made by it to various projects were “irregular”.

But an investigation by The Sunday Business Post has revealed the family connections to many of the contracts awarded by Meath Partnership in recent years.
