Family of five found dead at a house in Cavan

Gardai describe incident as 'a tragedy'

Gardaí are at the scene following the death of a family of five in Ballyjamesduff in Co Cavan.

Gardaí were called to a house in the townland of Barconey at noon. The bodies of a couple and their three children lay inside.

The man was in his 40s and the woman in her 30s. Their three sons were six, 11 and 13.
