Facebook should remove content that people respond to with hate speech even if the original post is not in itself hateful, an anti-racism group has said.
European Network Against Racism (ENAR) Ireland said that recent responses to a post by Gemma O’Doherty, a former newspaper journalist who now promotes conspiracy theories online, were an example of where Facebook’s current rules were inadequate to prevent hate speech.
