Euro zone inflation up 0.3% in May - Eurostat

Inflation for the 19-nation bloc was 0.3% in May

Inflation in the euro zone was higher than anticipation in May, according to the latest figures from the European Union’s statistics office Eurostat.

Consumer prices in the 19-nation currency bloc rose 0.3 per cent year-on-year in May. The latest reading comes after five consecutive months of decreases and a flat reading in April.
