Comments come after German claim that talks have broken down

“Although trade talks take time, the ball is rolling right now,” Margaritis Schinas said in Brussels.

She was speaking after comments over the weekend from German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel, who was quoted as saying that talks between the EU and US "have de facto broken down, even if no-one wants to say so".
