Employers to get access to banned drivers database

Employers will be able to check a new online database to see if their workers have been banned from driving.
The move is designed to reduce the number of disqualified drivers on the road, given that they have killed 12 people in collisions over the past three years.
The Road Safety Authority (RSA) confirmed that it was working on an information portal which could be accessed by employers.
